My obsession with memes is taking over my marriage

Before I discovered the Meme Producerapp for my iPhone, my husband complained that he could never reach me. But now I bet he misses those days, because once you’ve started, you can never stop meme-ing.

It started as a cute way of making dinner plans…

And it worked…

After that, it became a little joke between us…

At first, Mark played along…

Planning our schedules became much more interesting…

And, I could be honest about things that bothered me…

Each time he started a new semester, I could wish him luck…

And each time he finished, I could congratulate him…

Through memes, I could ask him important questions about life…

And most of the time he would answer…

But the best part, by far, was that when I wanted nachos… well, let’s just say he knew…

Sometimes my work received great reviews…

Sometimes, not so much…

And sometimes, there was only silence…

I thought they were two of my best, but… Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

A few memes later, I began to think that the game had finally come to an end. Maybe the fart joke was starting to get to him, or maybe he didn’t agree that Ron Burgundy’s mustache was super cool. Either way, I was at a crossroads. Should I keep trying to craft the perfect meme, or should I take the hint and call it quits?

Then, just when I thought it was all over, I opened my messages and found this…

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I’d say, I have to agree.
