Wedding couple decide to be anything but ordinary for their first dance (WATCH)

Your wedding day is bound to be one of the most memorable of your entire life, and the first dance is one of those truly special moments shared between newlyweds. One couple decided to make theirs even more unforgettable by mixing it up a little.

Instead of the traditional slow dance to a soppy tune, Chris Jones and Lisa Solari went for something that is anything but ordinary — and that’s why they’ve now gained Internet fame.

It starts off as a regular first dance, with the couple staring into each other’s eyes lovingly while they sway to what sounds like the hit “A Whole New World” from Disney’s Aladdin. But then the music changes, and so does the energy in the room, as the couple do a series of hilarious (and actually quite skillful) jives to a number of songs, ranging from country to One Direction.

The video, which was filmed by videographer David Pearson and uploaded to Wales Online, is just over five minutes of non-stop entertainment and is bound to bring a smile to your face — and it might also inspire you to make your wedding dance a little out of the ordinary.

Speaking of the idea, Jones told the publication that he had suggested it as a “joke”, but when his bride-to-be agreed, they just went with it.

“I’m not really a dancer, so I thought why not just go the whole hog and go for it”, he told Wales Online.

The groom also shared his thoughts with Daily Post, revealing that he wasn’t as cool and collected as he looked.

“I was very nervous about doing the dance. We hadn’t had much rehearsal, and we even practiced in the back of the car on the way to the wedding reception, which was quite hard”, Jones said.

Luckily for the couple, they did have the assistance of one of their choreographer friends, Leah, who helped them work out an epic routine.
