A bride-to-be is (justifiably) pissed that the über-popular TLC show Say Yes to the Dress went back on a promise.
Alexandra Godino was shopping for her wedding dress at Kleinfeld Bridal when she was asked to be on an episode of Say Yes to the Dress. The planned bride for the show canceled at the last minute, so she agreed to participate.

Her only condition? That they not air the episode until after her May wedding. She claims they agreed but then went back on the promise and plan to air the episode on March 25.
“If I for one second, for one second, thought they would air this before my wedding I would never have done it — ever, ever, ever,” the Las Vegas-based bride-to-be told The New York Post.
She filed a lawsuit in a New York City court, saying that her wedding would be ruined because her fiancé — professional hockey player Jeff May — and guests would see it before the big day.

Unfortunately, the judge didn’t sympathize with her.
“I appreciate that (airing the show Friday) could take away from the pageantry of the wedding,” Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Nancy Bannon said Thursday, according to the New York Daily News. “She could have said no and turned them down and they would have gone onto the next bride.”
Sure, she could just pick a new dress — or not, because the one she picked is a Zuhair Murad creation that cost her $40,000. And no, the SYTTD producers didn’t pick up the tab.
The judge says Godino signed her rights away in the waiver, so she has no recourse against the show. “Things could be worse than being on a television show with a beautiful dress on,” she told the court.
