Couple gets hate for engagement photos, responds with relentless positivity

A bride and groom-to-be posed for some beautiful photos in honor of their upcoming nuptials. Not really that unusual, but the comments they received for them were anything but kind.

The reason: Bride-to-be Mzznaki Tetteh is larger than her fiancé, Kojo Amoah. Even so, he easily picks her up in one of their engagement portraits, though others seem to feel otherwise.

“You can see the struggle in his face,” wrote one comment. “RIP that man’s spine,” another wrote. “This girl isn’t going to look beautiful in a wedding dress like this.”

The commentary hasn’t fazed the couple.

“For your smile I could go a thousand miles to make you happy. I’ll take my time n I won’t be snappy because I love you dearly. I’m ready to become your baby daddy. Love u,” Amoah wrote on Instagram.

And Tetteh is twirling on the haters with some infectious optimism.

“Still confident… your rubbish comments ain’t ruining my happiness… thanks to all for the compliments and best wishes… am honoured,” she wrote.

Snaps. The Ghana-based pair is set to wed on June 25 and it’s pretty obvious they’re head over heels for each other. We can’t wait to see the sure-to-be-amazing wedding photos.
