Pornography is all about the visuals, but one popular pornography website is now making it possible for the visually impaired to experience it.

Pornhub just announced Described Video, a new philanthropic endeavor where they added voiceovers to the adult website’s most popular videos. According to a press release, each video “includes special narration that has been tailored and crafted to give the user full enjoyment of the scene and includes descriptions of the models, their actions, position changes, outfits, and settings — the original audio remains intact but will act as an underscore to the scene.”
They aren’t kidding: I watched one clip and the woman’s voice described absolutely everything in painstaking detail — right down to a camera lens shown in one part of the five-minute clip.

It’s way too soon to know if these videos will be a hit. The voiceovers do their best to set the scene and describe what’s happening, but the descriptions might be a little too literal. Regardless, Pornhub’s attempt at being more inclusive is awesome — and we hope it inspires a bigger trend in the industry.
