What you’ll need:

  • bubble wrap
  • scissors
  • glue

  • pipe cleaners
  • googly eyes

What you’ll do:

  1. Cut a piece of bubble wrap so that it is 6 inches wide and 12 inches long.
  2. Roll up the bubble wrap and glue the end so that it does not unroll.
  3. Paint the outside of the bubble wrap and let it dry.
  4. Cut three pipe cleaners in half. Poke the ends of the pipe cleaners into the bubble wrap so that there are three on each side.
  5. Bend the pipe cleaners to form the legs.

  • bubble wrap
  • paper towel tube
  • glue
  • paint
  • paint brush
  • paper

What you’ll do:

  1. Cut a piece of bubble wrap that is a couple inches narrower than the paper towel tube on either side.
  2. Glue one end of the bubble wrap centered on the paper towel roll.
  3. Wrap the rest of the bubble wrap around the tube and glue the other end to keep the bubble wrap from unrolling.

Bubble wrap butterfly

What you’ll need:

  • bubble wrap
  • scissors
  • doll peg clothespin
  • paint
  • paint brush
  • marker

What you’ll do:

  1. Paint the clothespin and set it aside to dry.
  2. Fold a piece of bubble wrap in half and cut out a heart shape with the bottom along the seam of the bubble wrap.
  3. Cut out a second heart shape that is slightly smaller than the first.
  4. Once the paint is dry, lay the small heart shape on top of the large heart shape and slide them into the clothespin to make the butterfly wings.
  5. Use the marker to draw a face on the butterfly.

Bubble wrap hopscotch

What you’ll need:

  • paper (optional)

What you’ll do:

  1. Cut out 10 pieces of bubble wrap that are the same size as a piece of paper.
  2. Turn the bubble wrap over so that the bumpy side is facing down. Write the numbers 1 through 10 on the smooth side of the bubble wrap squares.
