Frankenstein marshmallow pops
With just a few easy ingredients, you and your kids can make these monstrous marshmallow treats created by Nothing But Country to pass out to trick-or-treaters or party guests.
Ingredients:
- Marshmallows
- Chocolate sprinkles
- Pop sticks
- Candy melts
- Gourmet writer food decorator pen in black
How to make homemade marshmallows >>
Directions:
- Simply press the sticks into the bottom of the marshmallows.
- Melt green candy drops into a glass cup deep enough to submerge the marshmallows. Melt them in the microwave and stir in five to seven second intervals. If you melt them for too long or they become too hot, the candy will get ruined so be careful. Once it is smooth, you can dip your marshmallow into the candy melt and tap off the excess.
- Turn upside down and dip into the chocolate sprinkles.
- Allow candy to harden or put them in the freezer for two minutes. If you leave them too long they will begin to sweat. You will need a stand to hold them up such as a floral Styrofoam block.
- Draw on the faces using the gourmet writer food decorator pen.
- Allow ink to dry before serving or wrapping up.
