Animal crafts you can make with your kids

X-ray fish craft

Supplies:

  • White card stock and yellow card stock
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Markers
  • Cotton swabs
  • Glue
  • 1 Wiggle eye

Directions:

  1. Sketch out a fish shape on the yellow card stock and have your youngster cut it out with safety scissors.
  2. Next, cut cotton swabs in varying lengths and help your child arrange them in a skeletal shape on the fish, then glue them down.
  3. Glue a wiggle eye to the face of the fish, adding on a gill, smile, tail and fin markings while the glue dries.
  4. Now, let your kiddo create waves and bubbles on the white card stock to give his x-ray fish craft an underwater scene in which to swim.
  5. Finally, glue the x-ray fish to the water scene on the white cardstock and your child has his very own fuss-free fish!
