Iguana paper craft
Supplies:
- Green card stock
- Pencil
- Scissors
- 2 Wiggle eyes
- Glue
- Sequins
Directions:
- First, sketch an iguana shape onto a piece of green card stock. Help your child cut it out with scissors, but save the scraps for the dorsal crests that run down the back.
- Take a long strip of scrap paper and fold it in half lengthwise to make a long, skinny strip. Then, use scissors to make a zigzag pattern along the folded side, cutting halfway into the strip.
- Once your dorsal crests are cut, create a crease along each side of the folded strip to form flaps for gluing to your iguana. Run a thin strip of glue under the flaps and secure to the back of your iguana craft.
- Finally, use glue to attach the eyes to the head and glue sequins down the iguana’s back and your animal craft is ready for fun.
