Scandal star Kerry Washington always looks chic and feminine, as well as totally polished. We love the fact that Washington, who is currently pregnant with her first child, looks amazing without showing too much skin, something that many celebrity moms should take note of (we are looking at you, Kim Kardashian!).
Washington, who wasn’t showing a baby bump when this photo was taken in October, looked amazing before her appearance on The David Letterman Show in this Prabal Gurung Resort 2014 Black Floral Printed Dress, which she accessorized with a simple black clutch, black heels and soft face-framing curls. The 36-year-old star told Lucky magazine that she loves her fashionable character Olivia Pope, but she doesn’t always look like her!
“I know that I am not going to look like Olivia when I wake up and go to the bathroom at 4 o’clock in the morning. On the set, it’s somebody’s job to follow me around all day with spackle,” she joked.
Off-camera she likes to dress down. “I’m not a formal person. I have a lot of jeans. And I have tons of sneakers, whether they’re the custom Nikes that you can make online or the Isabel Marant wedges. That’s the Bronx in me, for sure.”
