Jessica Holden is also a team member at TPW in addition to being a freelance writer, editor, photographer and an incurable romantic who absolutely loves Valentine’s Day!
When we asked her to elaborate, she explained, “I love taking the time to come up with a cute shoot that I can do with my daughter. The idea is to make it fun for both of us. I include my daughter in planning the shoot, so together we find a prop that inspires us — candy, paper hearts, twinkly lights — and then we play.” They usually shoot in her daughter’s room, which Jessica says has the softest, prettiest light in their home, and they blast their favorite music. She tells us that the shoots are a success because her daughter is involved in the process from beginning to end, so it becomes something they enjoy doing together and they look forward to it every Valentine’s Day!
