What was on the minds and Twitter feeds of some of our favorite celebrity moms? The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels took to Twitter to address the controversy over contestant Rachel Frederickson’s dramatic weight loss — and also shared an adorable photo of her son Phoenix. Elizabeth Banks, (who won serious cool points from her kids for starring in The Lego Movie), model Doutzen Kroes and new dad Kevin Jonas round out our list of best celebrity tweets of the week.
Jillian Michaels
The Biggest Loser trainer Jillian Michaels took to Twitter to address the controversy over the finale of the show, when contestant Rachel Frederickson won $250,000 after losing an amazing 155 pounds and going from weighing 260 pounds to 105 pounds. Many viewers were concerned that Frederickson — who went from a size 20 to a size 0/2 — looked too skinny. In fact, a photo went viral that showed Michaels, along with trainer Bob Harper, looking stunned as Frederickson, who was trained by Dolvett Quince, revealed her super-slim physique during the show finale.
In response to the criticism of the show, Michaels posted the following tweet, which basically said she was steering away from any of the controversy:

Michaels, who has two children, Lukensia and Phoenix, with her partner Heidi Rhoades, also shared this adorable photo of her “favorite snack,” — which just happens to be her son Phoenix.

Elizabeth Banks
The Hunger Games actress Elizabeth Banks undoubtedly scored some serious cool points with her two children, sons Felix and Magnus, when she took the role of the voice of Wyldstyle in The Lego Movie. Banks shared the following photo via Twitter, holding her own Lego action figure with co-stars Chris Pratt and Will Arnett.

Banks and her husband, sports writer Max Handelman, used a gestational surrogate for both of her sons. She has opened up about her infertility, saying that she was unable to get pregnant. “It was a womb issue for me. Embryos wouldn’t implant,” she told Celebrity Baby Scoop. Banks shared this sweet tweet about her son, and we have to say we are impressed she threw in the word, “flummoxed!”

On a more somber note, Banks, who worked with Philip Seymour Hoffman in The Hunger Games, wrote this about the actor who recently died of an apparent drug overdose:

Danielle and Kevin Jonas
“This is what I waited to see for nine months. Love these two more then words can tell #AlenaRose#proudmommy,” new mom Danielle Jonas tweeted, sharing this photo on Instagram of her husband, Kevin Jonas, holding their newborn baby Alena Rose.
It sounds like Danielle is still adjusting to being a new mom, however luckily she has her hubby Kevin to help her through the rough patches.

Doutzen Kroes
If you are a Victoria’s Secret model, then this is a totally acceptable way to announce you are pregnant… I think.
“This is not a #throwbackthursday this is now! So happy to share with you that we are expecting,” she tweeted, sharing the following photo of the model showing off her bare baby bump:
This is the second child for the 29-year-old model, who has a 3-year-old son named Phyllon Joy with producer Sunnery James.
