Directions:

Step 1: Cut the fabric

First, cut your jersey-knit material to measure 28 inches long by 60 inches wide. Most jersey-knit material comes in 60-inch width, so you could essentially just have the fabric counter cut your 28 inches of material for you and you’re halfway to completing your DIY infinity nursing cover scarf.

Step 2: Fold and pin

Next, fold your material in half lengthwise so that the short ends meet (the 28-inch sides) and your yard of fabric can make a circle. You’ll want the right sides of the fabric facing one another to hide your seam when you’re done.

Step 3: Sew and finish

Then, stitch those short ends together on a sewing machine and turn right side out. You don’t even have to hem the long edges because of the no-ravel nature of this fab fabric.

Step 4: Use and enjoy

Finally, loop your infinity nursing scarf around your neck twice when you’re not nursing or drape it on one shoulder and under your opposite arm as a nursing cover when you’re breastfeeding on the go.
