Sara Gilbert made the announcement on her daytime show, The Talk, that she and songwriter Linda Perry, who she married in March, are expecting their first child together.
During a segment on the show titled “Face Your Fears,” the 39-year-old made the announcement while explaining why she couldn’t do one of the dares, which required her to have a cinder block broken on her stomach.
“Before we go I just want to say I’m actually not going to do the dare. I was scared to do it and I really believe in facing your fears, but I actually can’t do the dare… because I’m pregnant,” she announced, much to the delight of her cohosts, including Sharon Osbourne, who posted the above picture on Twitter.
This will be the third child for Gilbert, who has a 7-year-old daughter named Sawyer and a 9-year-old son named Levi from her previous relationship with Ali Adler.
