International Babywearing Week is here. For parents who wear their babies, it’s a time to celebrate and share information. In the spirit of this year’s “share the adventure” theme we’ve gathered 20 photos of moms and dads (and siblings) wearing babies.
Babywearing scared me the first time around. I wasn’t sure how to carry my floppy little newborn in a sling. It wasn’t until I had my second child while my first was still in a stroller that I gave it another try out of necessity. Armed with a Moby Wrap, I discovered the ease and joy of babywearing. My fussy little guy always chilled out and snuggled in his wrap, and to this day I miss the feeling of his heart beating against mine in the safe hug of a wrap.
The coolest thing about babywearing is how mobile you are compared to pushing a stroller. Just look at some of the amazing places these families ended up with their little ones.
