Pacifiers: If your baby loves them, bring lots of these little guys. They’re bound to fall on the ground, disappear or break, so bringing extras will ensure you always have one on hand [it’s much better than being caught without one].

Books or toys: Children want to be entertained, so bring some things along that will keep them amused. Look for multi-tasking items like books that allow baby to touch and feel or toys that make noise.
Sunscreen or bug spray: Whether you’re going to be outside or not, it’s always important to have sunscreen or bug spray on hand.
A hat: Come winter or summer, it’s important to keep your tots head warm and their face burn-free.
Plastic bags: These can be used to store everything from bottles to food to snacks. They can also keep dirty articles of clothing or diapers sealed until you get home.
