6. Loulou’s Views
We love that we’re never quite sure what we’ll get when we visit Loulou’s Views. Loulou, now a frequent contributor on CTV Morning Live and Daytime Ottawa, might one day talk about motherhood and fear, and on another day, The Hunger Games or the many things she loves about being a mom. No matter what Loulou offers up, we’re never disappointed.
Loulou says, “I love blogging and sharing my views on parenting, travel, hotel reviews, beauty products and the things I love and am passionate about. I love hearing back from my readers telling me they just booked a great vacation because of my review and recommendations. Blogging (and Instagram/Twitter) has always been a great way to share ideas, views and grow your community — while making new friends and contacts. I love that doing what I love is my job!”
7. Merry About Town
Merry, author of the clever little blog Merry About Town, is a mom who works outside the home and somehow still manages to find time to maintain her lively mom blog, where she shares ideas for fun kid projects, kid-friendly recipes and stories about her gorgeous children.
“Merry About Town brings together family-friendly recipes, travel and family in a blog all about life,” says Merry.

8. Mommy-Miracles
We love that Laura is an open book. She met her husband through blogging, planned her wedding while blogging and tweeted the birth of her son. Mommy-Miracles is filled with posts on family and motherhood, and her photography is gorgeous. We love stopping by to read her words, and her blog design is so beautiful that we could stare at it for days.
“Mommy-Miracles is about searching for and discovering grace while in the trenches of motherhood. It is about being real and open and honest about the fact that while this journey is worth it, it can also be hard. The stories of my family help other mothers feel like they aren’t alone, through the good times and the times that maybe aren’t so good,” Laura explains.
9. Running for Autism
Kirsten, whose oldest son was diagnosed with autism, is the mom behind Running for Autism, a warm and welcoming blog that’s proved especially beneficial for fellow parents of children with autism. While the blog does focus on life as a parent of a child with autism, Kirsten also throws in a mix of topics to keep things interesting, related to family, running and other randomness.
10. So Fawned Lifestyle
This might be the “cool mom” blog you’ve been missing all along. A personal blog started by a single mother, Desiree, has grown into So Fawned Lifestyle, a buzzing online magazine that breaks down all things motherhood and lifestyle-related for “cool folks like you.”
Now it’s your turn
