It’s hard to believe it’s been only a year since we were introduced to the Holderness family, when they created their viral video for “Xmas Jammies.”
The Holderness family is back with a video commemorating every wild and busy thing that happened to them this year after they discovered internet fame.

Today.com has an excellent article by the Holderness family about what it’s like to be thrust into the spotlight with little warning and how their kids are dealing with it:
“There have been questions about the effect this attention is having on our kids. I’ll be honest… we don’t know. But, yes, it’s something we worry about. If we have an idea for a video, we ask Lola and Penn Charles if they want to participate. Ninety-five percent of the time it’s an enthusiastic YES! When it’s a “no,” we drop it and never, ever force them. Ever.
“Anonymous commenters can have their opinions on our parenting. They don’t know us at all. AT. ALL.”
That sounds like it must be a huge bummer, dealing with pearl-clutchers who don’t agree with your parenting style, and it sounds like they are handling it well. In the article, the family also hints at a reality TV show, so we will all have to stay tuned.
