Erica Morales and her husband Carlos were overjoyed to be expecting quadruplets after undergoing IVF last year. Then, at a month prior to her due date, Erica was rushed to Banner Good Samaritan hospital in Phoenix, Arizona with high blood pressure.
That was just this past Tuesday, Jan. 13. Erica Morales was rushed to the hospital with a swollen foot and blood pressure at 190/90. According to the Daily Mail, she wrote on her Facebook page: “He will push deliver up or stall it to to 34 weeks. I’m 31 tomorrow. He said I did phenomenal. A poster child for quads. He wish they could all go this way but this last part we have to do it carefully because u can stroke out with bad blood pressure. I’m sure I won’t but he looking at how to finish things. (sic)”

Doctors have launched an investigation into the cause of death, which happened two days later.
Family and friends say they will help Erica’s husband raise the four babies: Carlos Jr., Paisley, Tracy and little Erica. I can’t imagine how devastating this is for the family and friends who knew and loved Erica, and it’s so amazingly heartbreaking when a young mother dies. I can’t imagine the pain her husband is in. If you would like to help the family, there is a GoFund me page set up in Erica’s honor.
