Little Women‘s Terra Jolé welcomes a baby girl: See her sweet baby name

Little Women: LA star Terra Jolé and her boyfriend, Joe Gnoffo, welcomed their first child together. Find out her sweet and meaningful name and some of the scary risks she faced during her pregnancy.

Jolé and Gnoffo, who star on the reality show Little Women: LA, were overjoyed to welcome a healthy baby girl on Monday. She recently explained that the couple have a form of dwarfism which can result in their baby having serious complications at birth.

Jolé told Entertainment Tonight that there was a chance the baby could “die at birth or within a few hours of birth.

“While it lives a perfectly normal life in the womb,” she said, “it’s the lungs — they don’t develop fully.”

Luckily their baby girl was born healthy and weighed a healthy 6 pounds, 2 ounces.

Jolé, who had fun showing off her baby bump throughout her pregnancy, gave her daughter the sweet baby name of Penelope Charlevoix Gnoffo.

She told People that the middle name is from the town Charlevoix in Michigan, which is a meaningful town for her.

“My family grew up there,” she told People. “Joe and I vacationed there this summer, and my grandfather has an amphitheater named after him in downtown Charlevoix — Clarence Odmark. Honestly, it’s one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever visited.”

The first name of Penelope is a Gaelic name and has been quickly gaining in popularity. In fact, the Social Security Administration ranks Penelope as the 56th most popular girl name in the United States. Kourtney Kardashian also named her daughter Penelope.

Jolé told Entertainment Tonight in January that there is a chance their baby could also have a form of dwarfism, however no word yet about baby Penelope. “[The baby] is only 25 percent average height percentage, and then 75 percent some form, either Joe’s or mine or a mixture of the both of us, when it comes to both of our dwarfisms,” she said.

She also revealed she would more than likely need to have a C-section. “Our pelvic structure is curved due to our back, and so we have to have a C-section,” she said.

We are sure you can find out the answers to these questions and more on her upcoming Little Women spinoff show, Little Women: Terra’s Little Family, which will air on Lifetime.

“Joe and I are overjoyed by our new family addition,” she gushed to People. “Looking forward to our future together as a happy little family.”
