There’s still time to check off a few items on the ol’ summer bucket list.
Like any crazy type A parent, I enjoy a good old-fashioned list, paper-and-pen style. And, like any lazy type B parent, I also kind of/sort of dread the summer months without any structure, rhyme or reason to my days at home with four children.
Put them together and what do you have?
All the summer bucket lists I can find. Which I did — for you and for free, of course.
1. Yellow Bliss Road
I printed out about 10 dozen of these bad boys from Yellow Bliss Road and my kids have filled out a different version every other day. I honestly don’t even care if we do half of the things on them, but keeping the kids busy just dreaming of all the fun stuff they could do is plenty enough for me. Print it here.
2. Summer binder
This summer bucket list from Thirty Handmade Days takes the cake for the most all-inclusive list you could imagine, complete with enough printables to fill an actual binder. There are checklists, reading charts and worksheets galore, so warm up that printer first, folks.
3. Tear-off style
I thought this summer bucket list from Reasons to Skip the Housework was really cute for little hands, especially those who may not get as big of a thrill from checking things off as their insane mother does. Ahem. This option allows them to tear off activities as they complete them, which is fun just by itself. She also offers the old-school version and cross off away.
4. Color it out
For kids who may be too young to grasp the concept of a summer bucket list: This is an . My toddler son would love this idea because really all he needs are Popsicles on his bucket list. Enough said.
5. Pretty as a picture
Honestly, even if you don’t do a single thing off of this list from Love Bakes Good Cakes, it will still be worth it for you to print it out and hang somewhere for the summer. It makes me happy just to look at it.
6. One hundred days of summer
Jaderbomb has it covered for those of us who don’t actually want to put in any thought to what we want on our summer bucket lists. She’s put together 100 awesome summer ideas, such as playing miniature golf, making a family member breakfast in bed (hint, hint kids) or having a water balloon fight.
7. On a budget
If you’re on a budget or just trying to teach your kids some financial lessons this summer, this bucket list includes a column for cost so you can make some wallet-friendly decisions even when the heat is threatening to melt your brain. Download here.
