Game on
Some 67 percent of U.S. households play video games, so it’s no surprise that gaming was big at this year’s Toy Fair. But it’s one thing to play a video game, it’s another to build your own, and that’s exactly what kids will be doing this year.
Toys to watch for:
Bloxels — Kits allow kids to build a physical game world with colorful dots, snap a photo and then play in that game world inside the toy’s app.
Technology Will Save Us DIY Gamer Kit — Kids can build a game from the bottom up by first soldering together their own electronics, coding the games and then, of course, playing!
