It’s another son for the Fast and the Furious actress, 36, and Form, 44, who are already parents to Julian, 2. Both boys were born via gestational surrogate.

Rowan, which is of Scottish and Irish origin, is a unisex name, most commonly a boy name but in recent years growing in popularity among girls. It’s also a common surname and also the name of a tree whose red berries may be the root of the sweet meaning of the name: little redhead.

Rowan has steadily grown in popularity over the last 15 years, rising from number 969 on the U.S. baby boy name chart in 2000 to number 215 in 2015.

Other celebrities who have chosen the name Rowan for their babies include Brooke Shields (for her daughter), and Sharon Stone, who chose the alternative spelling Roan for her son. Another increasingly popular spelling is Rowen.

The most famous Rowan is probably Rowan Atkinson, the British comic actor best known for his alter ego Mr. Bean, who also starred in the sitcom Blackadder and the movies Love Actually and Johnny English.

With a toddler and two movie projects — Lethal Weapon and Secrets and Lies — on her hands, life is about to get even more hectic for Brewster, but it sounds as if she’ll take it in her stride. “What’s so wonderful about motherhood is that you’re constantly busy,” she said after the birth of Julian. “There’s so much to do and I don’t miss idle time at all.”
