Looks like Blac Chyna’s dad is already blundering this grandpa stuff

When Rob Kardashian emerged from his hiatus from the spotlight, he did so with the help of his now fiancee Blac Chyna, and it looks like the couple is making up for lost time.

Chyna is pregnant with the couple’s first child together, and their families are so excited about the new addition that it looks like one of them might have just leaked the gender of the baby. Eric Holland, Chyna’s father, has reportedly revealed that the couple is expecting a baby boy in the fall.

If the news is true, this will be Chyna’s second son (she has another son with rapper, Tyga). Rob is reportedly over the moon about having a baby boy, but is he OK with having his soon-to-be father-in-law leaking the couple’s big news before they made an official announcement?

We’re sure that Chyna’s dad was just excited about the family’s newest addition, but revealing a baby’s gender is a big deal for some couples, especially celebrity couples. The Kardashians are a close-knit clan, and Kris Jenner is infamous for prying into the privacy of her children. One has to wonder how she might have reacted if she read about the gender of her newest grandchild on the internet.

Is it ever OK for a grandparent to leak this kind of news? We all know that grandparents ignore any and all rules pertaining to spoiling and/or loading their grandchildren full of sugar before sending them home, but revealing the gender of a child, especially one that will inevitably be born in the spotlight, is kind of a big deal.

After all, it’s the parents’ new to share, not the grandparents’.

There are certain boundaries that soon-to-be parents might not want their own parents to cross. No matter how tempting it may be, grandparents should respect soon-to-be parents’ wishes and find out the gender of their grandchild when they bite into that pink or blue cupcake, just like everyone else. What would you do? Do you think it’s OK for an excited grandpa-to-be to spill the beans about his grandbaby?

If the news is true, the world had better be ready for a miniature Rob Kardashian.
