It was a very happy Labor Day for Hollywood legend Mia Farrow, who has become a grandmother for the 11th time! The proud 71-year-old shared the news on Twitter Monday, revealing that her daughter Dylan, 31, had given birth to a daughter.

Dylan announced her pregnancy in April and revealed that she and husband Dana had already chosen a name, but they kept it secret until their baby girl — Evangeline — arrived.
Evangeline is a Greek name meaning “bearer of good news,” and despite its classical roots, it has enjoyed a huge surge in popularity over the past decade. In 2015, it was No. 261 on the U.S. baby girl name chart. It’s the perfect choice for those who like Eva (a top 100 name since 2009) but want something a little less popular. Canadian actress and star of Lost Evangeline Lilly is the most famous bearer of the name. It’s a popular choice for musicians, with Emmylou Harris, Cocteau Twins, Marc Broussard and Matthew Sweet all releasing songs named “Evangeline.”

Evangeline is the first child for Dylan, who Mia adopted in 1985 when she was 2 weeks old. The Florida-based artist and writer, who married Dana in 2010, has largely stayed out of the limelight — aside from the bombshell letter she wrote for TheNew York Times in 2014, detailing the alleged sex abuse at the hands of her adopted father, Woody Allen. But now that she’s the mom of Mia Farrow’s 11th grandchild, she may have to prepare herself for a little more attention.
Mia herself is mom to 14 children. With her first husband, André Previn, Mia had twins Matthew and Sascha and son Fletcher, and they adopted Lark, Summer “Daisy” and Soon-Yi. Following her split from Previn, Mia adopted Moses Farrow as a single mom. After meeting Woody Allen and failing to conceive a child naturally, Mia adopted Dylan Farrow. After almost five years of trying to conceive, Mia and Woody did have a biological child together: Satchel “Ronan.” Mia adopted Tam when her relationship with Woody was on shaky ground (she had learned of his affair with Soon-Yi only one month previously), and later added adopted kids Isaiah, Gabriel, Kaeli-Shea and Frankie-Minh to her brood.
