It’s no secret that Chrissy Teigen and Kim Kardashian are great mates, but we had no idea how much Teigen valued the friendship until she revealed that she would totally be a surrogate for Kardashian and her husband Kanye West.

On a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, doctors told Kardashian that a third pregnancy could put her health at serious risk. In fact, it could even be life-threatening due to a potential complication known as a “retained placenta.”
Kardashian and West are already parents to daughter North, 3, and son Saint, 11 months, but it seems they’re keen to try for baby No. 3. A fertility expert told the reality TV star on her show, “If our goal is to grow your family like you want to, then a surrogate makes sense.”
Step forward BFF Teigen.
“I would be her surrogate in a second,” the model and cookbook author, who is mom to daughter Luna, 7 months, told Access Hollywood. “I really enjoyed the pregnancy process — I loved it. Yes. In a heartbeat.”

Despite having a pregnancy free from complications, Teigen can certainly relate to Kardashian’s baby struggle. She and husband John Legend turned to in vitro fertilization to have their daughter, and Teigen has revealed that she’ll face further rounds of IVF if future pregnancies don’t occur naturally.
“The number of embryos we have left is not matching the number of people I want at my dinner table, so I’ll have to do it again,” said Teigen. “I wish I had frozen my eggs earlier. We have a few more on ice. Who knows what will work?”
Offering to be a surrogate for someone is a huge deal no matter how close you are. We’ll have to wait and see if Kardashian takes her friend up on her generous offer. It would certainly make for interesting KUWTK viewing.
