In the latest installment of the never-ending battle between Jon and Kate Gosselin, played out in the media for us all to witness, Jon has revealed that he doesn’t know the whereabouts of his 12-year-old son Collin.

Talking to ET, the father of eight said that he only has “an idea” where Collin is. “I don’t really know where he is,” he admitted, adding that while his ex-wife “says that Collin is in a special school for special needs kids with behavioral problems,” law enforcement officials have told Jon otherwise.
In August, Kate said she had enrolled Collin in a program away from home to help him cope with his special needs, and the boy is missing from the latest Kate Plus Eight trailer, suggesting he won’t be appearing in the new season of the reality show.
Jon currently has partial physical custody of his kids — twins Cara and Mady, now 16; sextuplets Aaden, Collin, Joel, Leah, Alexis and Hannah, now 12 — but Kate has full legal custody. Earlier this year, Jon said he was unable to contest the custody arrangements because of financial constraints.

According to Jon, he hasn’t even seen Collin for over 18 months, and he asks Kate where their son is but she won’t tell him, nor will she answer any of his texts.
Jon also disputes whether Collin has any behavioral problems, describing him as “really smart,” “incredibly intuitive” and “very loving.”
It’s a shame Jon and Kate are unable to settle their custody disputes in private, particularly as their older kids are at an age when they can read what’s written about their family online — whether it’s true or not. No doubt this story will unfold — as always — on the new season of Kate Plus Eight.
