After confirming her pregnancy last month, Janet Jackson has maintained radio silence on her personal life — in fact, she’s not posted anything on social media since Aug. 25.

But last weekend, she tweeted her fans, revealing that she’s “still listening” and thanking them for their “love and prayers.” The mom-to-be signed off her tweet to her 3.38 million followers with “Al Hamdu lillah,” which translates from Arabic to “Praise be to God.”

Jackson confirmed she is expecting her first child with husband of four years, Wissam Al Mana, in October, saying, “We thank God for our blessing.” However speculation that she may be expecting a baby began several months ago after the singer delayed her tour. Jackson released a video message in April saying, “I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family. So I’m going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can, try and understand it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up — doctor’s orders. I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
Jackson hasn’t been seen much in public during her pregnancy, although she was spotted shopping for baby items at London’s Back in Action furniture store in September. She hasn’t revealed her due date, but she did look heavily pregnant in the pictures, which suggests the latest member of the Jackson clan might be making an arrival before the end of the year.
