Jimmy Kimmel is going to be a dad again.

The talk show host and wife Molly McNearney are expecting their second child together, Kimmel announced on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday evening.
The news came as a bit of an afterthought to Kimmel’s announcement that he would be hosting the 89th Academy Awards in February. “Also, my wife is hosting a baby inside her body,” he said. “So that’s what’s coming.”
Kimmel joked that they were planning to “let the child decide for itself” when it came to its sex. At least, we think he was joking.
“We want that to be a surprise,” he said. “But I have been trying to think of names that would work for a boy or girl. So far, I’ve come up with two. No. 1: Dyson after the vacuum or Jelatin with a J. No? That’s exactly what my wife said.”

2017 is going to be a big year for Kimmel — something he was quick to acknowledge. “There’s a lot of exciting stuff going on,” he said. “Congratulations to me. I’m hosting the Oscars and I had sex. Two things as a teenage boy I never thought would be possible.”
The new addition to the family will join Kimmel and McNearney’s 2-year-old daughter Jane, as well as Kimmel’s son Kevin and daughter Katie from a previous marriage.
Kimmel and McNearney married in 2013 in Ojai, California, in front of several celebrity guests, including Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, Ellen DeGeneres, Gabourey Sidibe and Kristen Bell.
