Blake Lively Took an Infant CPR Class & Thinks You Should Too

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are two of our favorite celebrity parents, hands down.

We’d totally entrust them with our own kids while we jetted off to Majorca for a week — especially now that we know that Lively has recently taken an infant CPR class.

Yesterday, Lively posted a shot of herself on Instagram giving the thumbs-up surrounded by CPR dummies and a baby doll. Her caption:

“ALL MAMAS AND DADDIES OUT THERE– I can’t recommend this enough, I took a CPR class with […] a focus on babies and toddlers. Google ‘infant CPR class near me’ and you’ll see lots of listings. For those of you who haven’t done it, you will love it. It’s so helpful by giving you knowledge, tools, and some peace of mind.”

Fans praised the photo and offered thanks to Lively for the reminder.

While the Red Cross offers printable instructions on CPR for infants and toddlers on their website, there’s really no substitute for an actual class — and there’s really no excuse not to take one, especially if you’re a parent or caregiver for little ones.

We know it’s scary to think about, and chances are good you’ll never have to use it on a child, but be like Lively and get yourself to a local CPR class, OK?
