The Hills are alive with the sound of a new baby, people.
Style maven, perennially chic blogger and former reality TV star Lauren Conrad and her husband William Tell just welcomed a son — a first child for each— and he’s got a refreshingly down-to-earth name: Liam James.

Let that sink in: no Cedar, no Sire, no Spruce, no Huron. Liam James. (We’re thinking the family will need to move out of SoCal immediately, with a name as low-key as that.)
The couple told People, “We are thrilled to share that we welcomed our son Liam James Tell into our family. Mom, Dad and baby are doing well. We’re already in love!”

Conrad also posted a pic of a sweet embroidered sampler to Instagram with the words, “And then there were 5.”
Liam was born on Wednesday, July 5 and weighed in at a very laid-back 6 pounds, 14 ounces. He is the couple’s first child and also the first child for the couple’s dogs, Chloe and Fitz.

Conrad said of the dogs’ reaction to the newcomer: “Chloe and Fitz aren’t so sure…”
Conrad and Tell got hitched in September 2014 in a sunset ceremony (of course) at a boutique winery (of course) in Santa Ynez, California (of course). Everything they do seems to be relaxed chic with an extra side of chill, so we’re thinking they’ve got this parenthood thing in the (perfectly curated and completely tasteful) bag.
