Kevin Hart & Eniko Parrish Welcome Baby Boy

Comedian Kevin Hart and his wife, Eniko Parrish, have some happily sleepless nights ahead. Their first child — a boy — arrived in the wee hours of Tuesday morning according to a tweet and an Instagram post from Hart later that day. “God is truly amazing…Kenzo Kash Hart was born at 1:45am,” Hart wrote. Given the unique name, we’re guessing kiddo will grow up to be a fashion designer… or a country music icon perhaps.

“He is healthy & already smiling. Thank you all for your prayers!!!! We love & appreciate ya #Harts.” Maybe nobody tell Hart and Parrish that smiling that early is probably just gas. We’ll just keep that between us.

The day before she went into labor, Parrish posted a big belly shot on Instagram with a message to Kenzo, who was apparently taking his sweet old time getting here. She wrote, “dear Kenzo, you’re now 40 weeks, and 3 days past your due date! I know you’re quite comfy and warm in there… but it’s time! even though we don’t have any control over when you decide to make your debut, we just want u to know that we are ready for you any day now baby boy, it’s time to meet your parents! We love you.”

This is Parrish’s first child and Hart’s third. He shares son Hendrix, 10, and daughter Heaven, 12, with his ex Torrei Hart. Parrish — a model — and Hart hosted a lavish Lion King-themed baby shower at the Calamigos Beach Club in Malibu in September. The event was attended by family and very cool friends like rapper Ludacris. And, you know, not by us, because our invite got lost in the mail. Clearly.

According to TMZ, the shower cost a whopping $117,855. On Snapchat, Hart joked about the extravagant budget — and its limits: “We couldn’t afford a lion, so we got the dog and just put the [mane] around the dog,” he laughed. “It’s still ballin’; it’s just on a budget!” Um, sure…

Sorry, Hart family dog. Looks like your moment in the spotlight is over. There’s a new Simba in town. Nants ingonyama bagithi baba!
