We’re So on Board With Khloé Kardashian’s Pregnancy Diet Change

Now that we’ve already welcomed Chicago West and Stormi Webster, there’s only one more tiny Kardashian krew member to await.

Khloé Kardashian is enjoying every minute of her pregnancy and is committed to being healthier than ever before. In a recent interview with People, Kardashian’s nutritionist, Dr. Philip Goglia, praised her for feeding both body and mind with healthy habits.

“She’s just a warrior,” Goglia said. “She really is fitness; it’s what defines her. She’s got a great attitude, and she’s super excited.”

As for her diet, Goglia told People the only thing that seems to have changed is that Kardashian is now once again eating a bit of dairy.

“She’s doing great,” he said. “She’s added a smidge of dairy, and she makes sure to have good, consistent eating patterns and proper exercise protocols.”

How someone can only eat “a smidge of dairy” is beyond me, but hey, everyone has a right to make their own lifestyle choices. Just don’t come for my cheese.

In all seriousness, it’s great to see Kardashian doing what’s best for her. It’s a definite change from the days she was admittedly insecure and referred to herself as the “fat, funny one” of the family.

Still, some people think she’s taking her pregnancy fitness goals too seriously. Back in December, the reality star shared a photo of her growing belly with the caption, “I’ll be six months next week.” Immediately, fans responded that she looked “too small” as a result of spending too much time at the gym. Thankfully, she didn’t let any of her haters drag her down and explained that she’s doing what she and her doctor think is best for both her health and the health of the baby.

“My doctor has instructed me to [work out],” she tweeted. “Why does everyone on social media think they are a physician?? Why would I do anything to [hurt my baby]? If you don’t know mind your business.”

Of course, Kardashian hasn’t always had the best reputation for pregnant body-positivity. During the premiere of her show Kocktails With Khloé, she said that she wouldn’t allow sister Kim Kardashian West to be on the program until she lost her baby weight. Though the family played the comment off as a joke, it’s not hard to see why people were offended. Growing and birthing a child is no easy feat, and pregnant or not, we would all be better off admiring our bodies for their incredible strength and resilience than scrutinizing every last stretch mark.
