Kendra Wilkinsonhas had it with the trolls in the wake of her divorce news to former NFL player Hank Baskett. Wilkinson — mom of Hank Jr., 8, and Alijah, 3 — posted to Instagram on Thursday to defend herself as a mother.
She went on to say, “I appreciate the true people that follow me and know who i truly am vs idiots comin in n out making shit up,” she said. “I’m also talking about people around me too. I’m a lover and a free spirit by nature, not a fighter but lately I’ve been feeling pushed into a corner by judgement and opinions that are 100 false n not me. While people on the internet AND in real life are feeling bad for my kids cuz mama has to work, my kids at the same time are thanking me. I make my sacrifices so my kids can have a life they deserve. I drink to celebrate only and i enjoy my friends. One day I’ll get the credit i deserve for all the hard work i do but til then I’m going to keep doing me.”More: No More Kids for Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett After Her Struggle With PPD
What brought out the haters, you may ask? Well, prepare to be shocked, friends: Wilkinson shared a few pics of herself having lunch with some Jersey Shore buddies (yes, that Snooki) and — *gasp* — playing video games while tipsy.
She posted on her Instagram Stories a photo of herself taking a shot — with the bunny-ear-and-nose filter — while wearing a gaming headset and holding a white Xbox controller. The pic had the hashtag #fortnite, the name of a video game. “Lol drunk bunny gamer,” she wrote, thus sealing her fate with the mom-shamers of the world.

Hey, if you can’t play video games drunk after announcing your divorce filing, well, this isn’t a world I’m interested in living in. Keep in mind Wilkinson posts pics all the time of her playing with her kids and generally just being the kind of mom you’d be thrilled to have in your book club.

Wilkinson wrote about the divorce decision on Instagram, posting a shot of her with Baskett: “Today is the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man. I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways. I’m beyond sad and heartbroken because i did believe in forever, that’s why i said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way. We are both amazing parents and our kids will be happy n never know the difference other than seeing mama smile. Sometimes love looks funny. We are told to make sacrifices in life if it’s true love well in this case it’s me. I want to see happy Hank again… i miss that. Marriage was just a piece of paper and a piece of jewelry but our hearts will always be real. U will prob see us together a lot but it’s because there’s no hate. Love wins in this case it’s just looks a little funny. Thank you Hank for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids. I feel so thankful and blessed.”No hate here, Kendra. You keep doing you.
