Spooky season is here, and the late Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn Birkhead is taking that literally. She just spent a “terrifying weekend” of Halloween fun with her dad Larry Birkhead, and the photos show the 18-year-old’s scary transformation!
Dannielynn and Larry attended Nightmare Weekend at Galaxy Con Miami, where they met cast from the Terrifier movie. And Dannielynn dressed for the occasion. “Had a Terrifying weekend meeting the cast of the ‘Terrifier’ at @galaxyconmiami Nightmare Weekend,” photos posted to Dannielynn and Larry’s joint Instagram account were captioned.
Dannielynn chose to dress up as “The Little Pale Girl” from the film, and she looked so creepy in her white face paint with scary black clown accents. Half of her hair was pulled through a tiny white hat on one side of her head (making her look a little insane!), and she wore a black-and-white clown dress covered in fake blood. A huge manic smile completed the haunting look! She posed next to David Howard Thornton in the photo, who was dressed as his character Art the Clown in an equally creepy costume. Larry was the only one who seemed chill in his Terrifier t-shirt and black cap.
“We got lucky enough to take a picture with @davidhowardthornton in his ‘Art The Clown’ costume. Then got to talk with him afterwards as well,” the post continued. “He was super nice and humble and told Dannieylnn how iconic her mother was. This was truly a special moment seeing that he is turning in iconic performances himself as ‘Art The Clown”’in these crazy ‘Terrifier’ movies!” Talk about a memorable moment!
They also got to meet the director of the horror film Damien Leone and Terrifier 3 actress Lauren LaVera.
“Awww … she’s such a happy kid. What a lucky girl to have such a phenomenal father who just is so involved and cares and enjoys his daughter,” someone commented on the cool post. “The world is blessed when fathers step up and raise their kids like this. It’s amazing. Sending Halloween ❤️ to both.”
Another commented, “She’s got Anna’s air. Sweet and funny personality 🌸💓” Someone else wrote, “She seems like so much fun like her Mom. You have done an amazing job raising a beautiful young lady with charm and personality. 👏👏👏”
Dannielynn turned 18 last month, and she celebrated in another spooky way: by wearing a Lydia Deetz-inspired outfit to see the premiere of Beetlejuice 2! “Dannielynn had a great time celebrating her 18th birthday with friends and family by attending the @beetlejuiceafterlife.exp and @beetlejuicemovie which made for an out of this world experience,” the father-daugther duo’s joint Instagram post was captioned. “Of course, Dannielynn found a Hot Topic store to get a spooky outfit for all the fun ! 😆 Happy 18th Birthday Dannielynn !”
She looked gorgeous in her black dress with spider web detail, paired with green eyeshadow and matching lipstick done by a professional makeup artist to match the green-and-black Beetlejuice aesthetic.
We love seeing Dannielynn and Larry’s fun (and spooky!) bonding moments, and we know Smith, who tragically died in Feb. 2007, would have been so proud to see how happy her daughter is.
These celebrity parents are raising strong, resilient daughters.
