As many fans know, Jennifer Lopez made a surprise appearance at the Wicked premiere on Nov 9, turning heads in an embellished, colorful Zuhair Murad Couture Spring 2024 gown. While she turned heads with her jaw-dropping look, here’s something you may have missed: her teen Emme was with her!
On Nov 11, Lopez shared an adorable selfie of her and Emme at the premiere, watching the long-awaited film. She shared the photo to her Instagram Stories, which was obtained by People, and in the photo, we see Lopez and Emme looking as happy as can be!
Not only do we see them smiling from ear to ear for the snapshot, but Lopez shared it with the caption reading “Wicked!! We loved it 💚🧙♀️🧚🩷.”
So it’s clear that Emme probably skipped the red carpet, but we’re so happy that they got to experience something so cool with their A-list mom!
Lopez is the mother to twins Emme and Max, born in Feb 2008, with whom she welcomed with ex-husband Marc Anthony, with whom she was with from 2004 to 2014.
In a previous interview with WSJ. Magazine via Elle UK, Lopez talked about how her kids put down boundaries with what they are and aren’t comfortable with, when it comes to her and Anthony’s fame.
“The kids kind of expressed to me, like, the parts that they were fine with about our lives and the parts they weren’t fine with,” she said, noting how it was a “real eye-opener and a reassessment” of “what was working and what wasn’t working.”
