Jennifer Love Hewitt’s lookalike daughter, Autumn, just hit the coolest milestone, and it’s even more cosmic when Hewitt tells the tale.
In case you missed it, on Nov 12, Hewitt shared a video on her Instagram, saying, “I got my sag card when I was 10 years old, and now when I am 10 years old, my daughter got hers too. Really cool.”
In the video, Hewitt talks about how when she was 10 years old, her late mother gave her a SAG-AFTRA card, which is a credential for professional actors to let others know they’re part of the SAG-AFTRA union. And now, Hewitt gets to give one to her eldest child.
“When I was 10 years old, and I wanted to be an actor, my mom got to hand me my SAG Card thanks to a little show called Kids Incorporated,” she said, adding, “I thought it was just the coolest thing ever because it meant that I was acting, I was doing what I really wanted to do and I was part of a community of really amazing, creative people.”
She added that today, she has to do the same with her 10-year-old daughter. “Well, today, thanks to a little part on 9-1-1 and The Holiday Junkie movie coming up that Autumn is in. Guess what? Right before she turns 11, I got to give her: her SAG card.”
That is such a cosmic, and sweet moment! Hewitt then teared up before saying goodbye, adding, “It’s a big moment, it’s really cool, and I keep thinking about my mom and how she would love this.”
Congrats to Autumn, who played Genevieve Kendall in an episode of 9-1-1 in 2023, and the upcoming holiday movie, The Holiday Junkie, starring Hewitt and her husband, Brian Hallisay. Congrats to Autumn!
For those who don’t know, the I Know What You Did Last Summer star and her husband Hallisay have welcomed three kids since tying the knot in Nov 2013.
They welcomed their eldest: a daughter named Autumn James, born in Nov 2013, only a few days after tying the knot. Since then, they’ve also welcomed two sons named Atticus James, born in June 2015, and Aiden James, born in Aug 2021.
In a previous interview with Now to Love, Hewitt shared how “beautiful” she finds motherhood.
“It’s been beautiful. It was my first really long break in almost 29 years [of acting] and I needed it. I needed to be a person for a while and experience new things to bring back to my craft,” she said. “It was really important to me to have children and be there for them. I feel like I’ve been able to do that. They’re these fully functioning, beautiful little people now.”
