As many know, both the Trump family and many people online have credited former US President (and President-elect) Donald Trump‘s son, Barron Trump, for helping his father secure the younger votes by handling his podcast agreements. However, before that, Barron was incredibly wishy-washy with his public appearances. One minute, he was set to go somewhere, and the next, he backed out. And now, Lara Trump just explained that all of that was surprisingly calculated on his part.
In a recent appearance on Patrick Bet-David’s podcast via MSN, she talked about her brother-in-law.
“Barron Trump is so cool. He’s like the sleeper. He’s kind of stayed out of the spotlight intentionally,” she said. “Barron makes us all look so little. He’s really smart, very entertaining, he’s his father’s son. He is going to do really incredibly things, there have been many times I’ve been traveling over the course of the campaign with my father-in-law in the car.”
She added, “Barron will call and say ‘Dad, I have an idea of how you can get more votes, you need to go to this baseball stadium’ or whatever. He’s always throwing out ideas. We have to give Barron some serious credit.”
Many thought Barron was going back and forth on how he’d handle the public, seemingly opting for being more in the shadows like his mom Melania. However, Lara’s rare comments show that Barron may be an extremely calculated kid, and maybe even a bit secretive (as past high schoolmates have said).
This tidbit shows that he’s seemingly his father’s son and may be more like his dad than his mom, especially when it comes to politics.
