The sad thing about being a mom is that you can do every single thing right, and people will still find a way to shame you, especially if you’re a mom in the public eye. Every mom, and yes, every celebrity mom, has faced their fair share of mom-shamers, some more than others. But now, proud girl mom Kaley Cuoco is clapping back at all of those shamers who have so much to say about how she parents her daughter Matilda.
In a recent interview with E! News, Cuoco gave the perfect, classy clapback to all those mom-shamers out there who try to viciously criticize her parenting.
“Every mom I can guarantee is doing the best they can,” she said. “Look, everyone’s got something to say about everything. There’s no change before I had kids, to having kids, to where I am in my life.”
“It’s just this business, it’s this life. It is what it is. But yeah, we got to stop at the shaming. I just feel like every kid is so different,” she added. “What’s good for your kid might not be good for mine.”
Louder for the people in the back!
For those who don’t know, Cuoco and Pelphrey started dating in May 2022. On March 30, 2023, the pair welcomed their daughter Matilda “Tildy,” and on Aug 14, 2024, they announced they were engaged!
In a previous interview on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show With Julia Cunningham, Pelphrey talked raising his and Cuoco’s daughter. “You realize there’s no way to understand what it’ll feel like until you get to feel it. It’s wild,” he said. “It’s the greatest thing I’ve ever got to experience. I know Kaley feels the same way. It’s also hilarious. It can be exhausting at times. It’s all the good things.”
