Madonna’s Cute & Candid New Photos Prove That Even Icons Can Be Regular Soccer Moms

Imagine pulling up to your kid’s soccer field in your mini van, rolling out with your blankets, bag of snacks, and bundled-up children, and seeing Madonna hanging out on the lawn to watch her kids. Talk about surreal! But underneath the glitz and glamour and, you know, total icon status, Madonna is just a regular mom. She shared cute photos of her recent soccer mom duties to support her 12-year-old twins Estere and Stella, and they couldn’t be more normal!

“Soccer Momming………….. Don’t give me an Iron and a Drink at the same time! ⚽️🍷 @agsoccerclub” the “Like a Virgin” singer captioned a post on Instagram on Monday, tagging the New York youth soccer club her daughters belong to. She looks silly and fun in all the photos, including the first one of her holding an iron and a cocktail in a hotel.

At the soccer field, the Queen of Pop wore an over-sized black puffer jacket with black beanie, a striped scarf, and sunglasses with black boots. She posed with one foot on the soccer ball at one point, and at another, she smiled with her daughters, who wore black uniforms. One candid shot caught her on the ground, which could have been excitement or disappointment over something that happened in the match.

She also included photos from the hotel and other silly moments of her just enjoying mom mode (and maybe a little boredom — soccer can last forever sometimes!). Despite being a legendary singer and world-famous celebrity, it’s nice to see that Madonna sometimes spends her weekends just like us: in total Mom Mode.

“Mother is mothering😍,” one person commented. Someone else wrote, “When you go a see a soccer game of your daughter and one of the moms is Madonna!!!! 😂”

Madonna, who is also mom to Lourdes Leon, 28, Rocco Ritchie, 24, David Banda, 19, and Mercy James, 18, previously called motherhood “the most difficult, the hardest battle” in an interview for Vanity Fair’s “Icon Issue.”

“Today I am still struggling to understand how to be a mother and do my job,” she said. “Whoever you are, having children and raising them is a work of art. No one gives you a manual. You have to learn from mistakes. It is a profession that requires a lot of time. And it is exhausting because there is never rest.”

Madonna added that she loves “spending time with my kids” and “to see them happy, to witness their growth, to watch them evolve and then to find the things they love.” She added, “Most of my happiness comes from my children.” And from these recent photos, it’s easy to see how true that is!

These celebrity parents are on double duty!
