Nicole Kidman brought a very special date to The Hollywood Reporter’s annual Women in Entertainment Gala on Wednesday night: her 13-year-old daughter Faith! The teen was glowing as she hugged her mom in new red-carpet photos.
The Oscar winner and her daughter were the picture of opposites for the event, with Kidman in a black dress with a blue collar and her blonde hair parted to the side, while Faith looked glam in a white jacket and matching tweed skirt with her long brown hair parted in the middle. She wore ripped tights and understated makeup to complete the look.
In one photo, the mother-and-daughter duo smile with their arms wrapped around each other, and in another, they gaze into each other’s eyes — which isn’t hard, because Faith is almost as tall as her mama! It’s clear they have a lot of love between them and it’s so heartwarming to see.
The Big Little Lies star shares Faith and daughter Sunday, 16, with husband Keith Urban. She is also mom to Bella Cruise, 31, and Connor Cruise, 29, with ex-husband Tom Cruise. Recently, her two younger daughters have been making more public appearances, and Sunday even made her runway debut.
In October, Sunday walked the Miu Miu Womenswear SS25 collection alongside stars like Willem Dafoe and Cara Delevingne. Afterward, Sunday gave a short interview to Vogue about the experience. “My name’s Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, and this is my first show, we’re at the Miu Miu show in Paris,” she said in a video interview. “I’ve been wanting to do this for so long, so when the offer came through, it was really exciting and now the day’s finally here.” She also gave some advice to herself: “Probably just like, don’t stress yourself out too much, because I was really stressed, and then, it’s just like, everyone here is really nice.”
In October, the Lioness star told E! Newsthat she felt “incredibly proud and supportive” of her eldest daughter’s debut, adding that she was “just there for her. Just being a mom.”
She also gave her daughter some pre-runway advice: “I was just like, ‘You got this baby,’” Kidman recalled. “I’m trying to give her her own space, you know? [Not be] overbearing or dominant in any way.”
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporterthis month, the Babygirl star opened up about her family’s nomadic lifestyle. “My girls, I’ve always said, ‘You are of the world, you’re global children,’” she said. “That’s what we do as a family. We travel and we experience things. And that’s a great education, too.”
