Andy Cohen’s Daughter Lucy Has a Special Message for Her Dad in a New Video & Her Sneaky Smile Says It All

Let’s have a moment of silence for toddler parents. It’s rough out here! One second you have an adorable, sweet baby and the next they are making potty jokes and pranking their parents. (OK, fine, it is pretty funny.) Andy Cohen was recently caught off guard when his 2-year-old daughter Lucy gave him a special message over breakfast, and we can’t stop laughing at the cute video.

“OK, Lucy has something that she would like to say,” the Bravo TV host said on his Instagram story shared Tuesday morning. He’s sitting at the dining room table next to his daughter, and when he pans the camera over to show her, she looks adorable. Lucy is drinking orange juice from a pink straw cup, with her curly brown hair tied up in a ponytail. She gives her dad a sneaky smile before responding: “underwear!”

Lucy — who, BTW, didn’t even remove the straw from her mouth before delivering that hilarious line — just continues to smile, looking so proud of herself. “Underwear?” Cohen asks.

“Yeah!” Lucy says with a giggle.

“That’s what you want to say? Underwear?” Cohen repeats, turning the camera back to himself. “I wonder where you learned that. Did your brother Ben teach you that?” he asks, referring to his 5-year-old son.

“Yeah,” she whispers, which makes Andy shake his head and smile. We’re just wondering how he held back from laughing, because she is too cute!

This isn’t the first time Ben has taught his younger sister something naughty. Back in March, the Watch What Happens Live host shared a video from spring break, where he was driving with his kids in the backseat. In the background, you can hear Ben say, “Lucy, say ‘poo poo.’”

As a responsible dad, Cohen tried to interject. “Lucy, say ‘Lucy,’” he suggests instead.

“No!” she responds from off-camera. Ben adds his own assertive reply. “Dad, you don’t tell me what to say,” he says, prompting Cohen to frown.

Later, Lucy says “Dada” over and over and over again, driving Cohen crazy. He asks Ben to teach Lucy to say something else, and he comes through: “Lucy, say ‘poo poo,’” Ben says. Because of course he did!

Toddlers will definitely keep us on our toes, but they also remind us to embrace the utter silliness in life. And we love them for it!
