Jeannie Mai’s Daughter Monaco Has Some Stern Words for Her Elf on the Shelf & the Video Is Beyond Cute

Most kids delight in the antics their Elf on the Shelf gets up to while their asleep. Pulling pranks, making messes, being silly — it’s all in good holiday fun! Jeannie Mai’s daughter Monaco, though, just isn’t having it. The adorable toddler, who turns 3 next month, shared some stern words for her Scout elf, and the video is pure delight.

“I don’t care what shelf ur from ur gonna learn tuhhhday 😤,” the clip shared on Monaco’s personal Instagram account, run by her mom, was captioned. Monaco is dressed in cozy pink pajamas as she chats with the elf sitting on a wood table next to the TV.

“You can’t do that! That’s not nice!” Monaco scolds her elf in her cute raspy voice, hitting her hands on the table to emphasize her point. We don’t know exactly what her elf did that was so bad, but we do know the punishment she’s going to receive. “Time out!” Monaco adds, before sighing heavily and walking away. That girl is over it!

“Monaco had ONE nerve left and that Elf got on it!! 😂😂😂” one person commented. Another wrote, “Laaaaaawd… Monaco is sick and tired of that Elf 😂😂😂😂.”

“The elf got that poor baby stressed out😂💀” someone else said. Monaco is just too cute!

The Raid the Cage host, who shares Monaco with ex Jeezy, recently revealed her brilliant “twist” for Elf on the Shelf. “This is the first year we’re busting on the Elf on the Shelf,” Mai told PEOPLE last month. “The Elf on the Shelf is known as the dude who causes mischief and does wacky things around your house and turns it upside down,” she continued, explaining that she doesn’t want her toddler to be inspired by these shenanigans.

“I want the Elf on the Shelf to be known to clean and actually take care of some chores,” the Christmas in the Spotlight star quipped. “The Elf is going to be by the dishes washed. That Elf is going to be folding Mommy’s socks. I’m going to be like, ‘Oh my God. Look how Elf on the Shelf put Mommy’s socks together. Monaco, can you put Mommy’s socks together so we all can help the Elf?’”

No wonder Monaco is stressed — her elf is making her do chores! When the elf goes back to the North Pole on Christmas Day, Monaco is going to be one happy girl.
