As the youngest member of the Australia Zoo Crew, Bindi Irwin’s daughter Grace Warrior has a lot to learn about wildlife conservation. But there is one area the 3-year-old already excels in — in fact, her mom says she’s “the very best” at it!
Bindi’s mom (and Grace’s “Bunny”) Terri Irwin shared a sweet photo of her only grandchild on Instagram, revealing that the toddler has “inspired” her going into 2025. “Grace has inspired me. My New Year’s resolution: always share. 💕” Terri captioned the adorable picture.
In it, Grace stands at a counter, drinking water from a red-and-white striped straw. Next to her glass cup is an identical glass cup filled with water, this time with a black-and-white straw inside. Grace holds up a pink Minnie Mouse plush toy to pretend to drink water from at the same time, and it shows how considerate her little heart is!
“💛 I totally agree! She’s the very best at sharing,” Bindi commented on the cute photo. “So much love.”
Grace is all about Minnie Mouse lately. Recently, she went on a walk with her dad Chandler Powell, dressed with Minnie ears and holding a plush Mickey Mouse in one hand (and her dad’s hand in the other!).
“Walks with Minnie Mouse. I’m so lucky,” Powell captioned the cute snap. “My world,” Bindi commented.
In a recent interview on theIn Real Life with Ellie & Ross podcast, Bindi shared that if she could have one moment back with her dad, the late Steve Irwin who tragically died in 2006, it would be to see him “with Grace.” “I think I would just want to have them be together and just to be able to watch them play, do you know what I mean?” Bindi said. “That is one of the things… there’s a million times in your life when you have that person that you have lost that you desperately want them to be there for, like getting married or what would you do in this situation? But more than any of that, just to have a few hours where he could just play with Grace.”
She added, “Oh man, he would love [her]. She is so much like him, it’s a little scary. She has so much fire and passion and energy in such a teeny tiny little body. I don’t know where it fits! They would be so similar, and, ah, it would just be fun to watch them play.”
Even though Grace and Steve won’t get to play together (in this life), it’s so sweet to see how kind-hearted and considerate Grace already is — just like her “Grandpa Crocodile.”
