Broad City alum Ilana Glazer just gave super-rare details about her three-year-old daughter, and how she’s such a creative, free-spirit already. In fact, she’s dancing, singing, and even trying to become her mama’s unofficial hairstylist.
In a recent conversation with People, Glazer revealed that her daughter frequently tries to style her mom’s hair to look like hers.
“She [tells] me to take my hair down because her hair is curly and she likes when our hair matches,” she said. “It will be up. She says, ‘Take it down! Take it down!’ And then she goes, ‘Zhuzh it!’”
She added what she says to her “very creative” daughter, and how she’s turning into such an artistic soul. She said, “I’m like, you’re telling me to zhuzh my hair? I’ve been zhuzhing my hair since before you were born, dude…She’s making jokes, she’s dancing. She’s very creative. Her spirit is very creative. Very alive.”
For those who don’t know, Glazer and her longtime boyfriend computational biologist David Rooklin married in 2017. Later, in July 2021, they welcomed their first child together, a daughter whose name has never been disclosed!
In a previous interview with People, Glazer talked about her experience with motherhood, saying it’s been a “very joyous approach to parenthood because I am in a very fortunate position where I’m having an amazing experience. I mean it’s incredibly hard, but no complaints for sure.”
