Barron Trump Made One Big Change for Dad Donald Trump’s Inauguration Day

There were many stark differences between Donald Trump’s swearing in as President of the United States today versus when he first did it in 2016. He is the oldest president to ever take office and the first president to be sworn in as a convicted felon among other things. But one of the most noticeable is his youngest son Barron Trump. The 18-year-old made a huge change for his dad’s inauguration day today seen in pictures from the event.

Barron was photographed in a tailored dark blue suit with a blue tie today, where he revealed his shorter haircut in pictures from the swearing in ceremony. His shorter, slicked-back hairstyle is a marked difference from eight years ago, when Barron was only 10. At Trump’s 2017 swearing-in ceremony, Barron’s long blonde hair was worn looser and combed back.

His hair isn’t the only thing that’s changed about Barron. He also towers over his dad now, which was especially evident when the two shared a handshake and Trump had to look up at his son.

Although his dad is president, Barron isn’t planning on moving from the family’s New York home. In fact, his mom Melania Trump told Fox News that he will have a place at the White House during’s Trump’s second term, so he can “come and visit.” “Whatever he would like to do,” Melania continued, per PEOPLE. “I feel as children, we have them till they are 18, 19 years old. We teach them, we guide them, and then we give them the wings to fly.”

“I always respect Barron’s yes and no, and what he likes to do, where he would like to be,” she added.

Trump’s other adult children attended this morning’s inauguration as well, per E! News. These include Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Eric Trump, who Trump shares with the late Ivana Trump, and Tiffany Trump, who Trump shares with Marla Maples.
