This Celeb Says Chrissy Teigen’s Daughter Luna Makes Her ‘Feel Like a Cherished Elder’

Chrissy Teigen had to take a moment out of her day for a “Luna tuna appreciation post” because c’mon. How could she not stop, smell the proverbial roses, and highlight how wonderful her 8-year-old daughter Luna is? Teigen — who shares Luna along with sons Miles and Wren and daughter Esti with husband John Legend — posted a soul-piercing black-and-white photo of her eldest on Instagram with the sweetest caption.

“The most loving big sister our kids could ever imagine,” the cookbook author wrote alongside a closeup of her daughter and her big, inquisitive eyes. “So funny, so smart, so quick, so kind, so empathetic, so good at art, always open to learning any and all recipes.”

And based on what we know about Luna from afar, that is all so true. In June, she showed off so many of those qualities when she helped her mom led an art class at an assisted living facility. Her “kind” and “empathetic” heart was on full display — never mind those impressive crafting skills!

“She is all the best parts of us in one little person. 🤍🤍🤍,” Teigen continued.

The touching post has 173 thousand likes (and counting!) and a hilarious quip from Mindy Kaling. The mom of three was quick to comment on Luna’s manners:

“She always says hi to me in the parking lot, making me feel like a cherished elder,” Kaling wrote.

Which we’re guessing means Luna is incredibly respectful. We have to assume the multihyphenate appreciates that — even if it makes her feel old.

It’s not uncommon to see Teigen and Kaling hopping in each other’s comment sections.

Over the summer, Kaling posted a photo of her 7-year-old daughter Kit’s letter to the Tooth Fairy. “Dear Tooth Fairy, Please take my tooth!! Love, Kit,” the precious note said.

Teigen then shared some great advice that had us taking notes.

“If you forget, and I always do, there is a sweet letter online where she talks about how busy she was the night before lol,” Teigen commented, per People.

“So many teeth on so many children,” Kaling responded.

And, let’s face it, a busy mom who is also an “elder” is bound to forget to mail the Tooth Fairy’s letters from time to time.
