Katy Perry Reveals She Still Has the Pregnancy Test From Her 4-Year-Old Daughter & We Have So Many Questions

When Katy Perry feels sentimental about her pregnancy with now-4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove, she has one unusual memento she can turn to: her old pregnancy test! The “Woman’s World” singer revealed that she still has her positive pregnancy test in a new interview that’ll leave you scratching your head.

The American Idol host shared a picture of her old stick test from when she was pregnant with Daisy in an interview with Capital FM, per PEOPLE. “Here is my pee stick test for when I conceived my daughter – Daisy Dove Bloom,” Perry says in the clip. She recalled telling Bloom she was pregnant, explained that she FaceTimed him from a hike to share the news.

“I was like, ‘Guess what?’” she continues, adding, “And I still have it and that’s weird, but it’s not. I don’t care.”

The interviewer clarified that she still has “the pee stick” and Perry responds, “Yeah, of course.” Because of course — why wouldn’t you keep a stick you peed on over four years ago?!

But perhaps the most interesting part of it all is where Perry keeps this unusual memento. “It’s in a drawer with lots of things. You know what else is in a drawer?” she quips. “Or it’s probably right next to Orlando’s Legolas ears. Just like, all the most important things.”

It’s so funny that it’s not even in a special spot. Just in a random drawer next to priceless film mementos like Bloom’s elf ears from Lord of the Rings. Imagine going through Perry and Bloom’s junk drawer looking for a pen and you accidentally grab her pregnancy stick? Honestly, though, moms are used to cleaning up bodily fluids, sticky substances, and pretty much every other gross thing, so in comparison, this isn’t that bad. At least the part you pee on has a cover!

Still, there are so many other mementos you could keep — like a picture of the pregnancy stick. We may not understand, but we totally support her.

At the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards in September, the “Teenage Dream” singer opened up about how motherhood changed her. “I feel good. I’ve had my daughter, and it’s changed my whole life,” she said. “I feel a sense of wholeness and more grounded. I’m writing songs from a place of feeling truly empowered. Feeling truly connected to my feminine divine. It’s changed my life for the better.”

And if she wants to keep an old pregnancy test to remind her of how impactful motherhood has been, then that’s totally OK!

From banana peppers to buttered Pop-Tarts, these pregnant celebrities are sharing their craziest cravings.
