Kylie Jenner is making fans do a double-take, and we don’t blame them. The TV personality just posted a video seemingly promoting a new drop for her beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics, but it seems like she’s making a different announcement entirely.
“🤫 2/27,” she captioned a black and white video zooming in on some kind of vague blob.
“Are you pregnant?” one person asked. Another said, “Why’d my mind go to baby sonogram lol.”
“Twins?” yet another follower wondered because of the two distinct dots at the end.
And honestly, that’s not not what it looks like. When you pair that kind of footage with a date, people are bound to think it’s a due date. We’ve watched the nondescript clip more than a dozen times and are still only mildly certain it’s a perfume bottle. But that’s only because we’re choosing to follow the bandwagon of fans who think it’s a fragrance — not a fetus.
We’re of the mind that no one is pregnant until they say they’re pregnant. And we fervently believe that celebrities should not have to fight off pregnancy rumors left and right. … But … we also think Jenner should steer clear of sonogram-esque videos if she doesn’t want people to think she and her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet are expecting.
Jenner is the proud mom of kids Stormi, 6 and Aire, 2 who she shares with ex Travis Scott.
Last February, the makeup mogul opened up about her experience with postpartum depression and the “powerful” feelings she had after welcoming both kids. Her advice to new moms? Don’t over-think things and “live all the emotions of that moment to the fullest.”
“Stay inside that moment, even if it is painful,” she said in a candid interview with Vanity Fair Italy. “I know, in those moments you think that it will never pass, that your body will never be the same as before, that you will never be the same. That’s not true: the hormones, the emotions at that stage are much, much more powerful and bigger than you. My advice is to live through that transition, without fear of the aftermath.”
“It’s okay not to be okay,” she continued. ” … We have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be ‘back.’ Not even physically, just mentally, after birth,” she said.
These celebs were quick to shut down pregnancy speculation.
