Drew Scott’s Perfectly-Timed Photo of 2-Year-Old Son Parker Is Making Followers Emotional

Drew Scott has gone ahead and done it again. The beloved HGTV star posted a photo of one of his adorable kids and it’s pulling on everyone’s heartstrings.

On Friday, the TV personality shared a picture of his 2-year-old son Parker, who he shares with wife Linda Phan along with baby daughter Piper. The little guy is wearing the cutest floral overalls, a white t-shirt, and a firefighter helmet.

“Hats off to all the firefighters and first responders in LA,” Scott captioned the post, referencing the wildfires that ravaged Los Angeles this month. “You’re truly heroes to all of us, including Parky 👨‍🚒❤️”

The photo is so perfectly timed. As usual, the picture was taken from behind (Scott and Phan don’t show their kids’ faces … and get a lot of hate from entitled followers). “Parky” has one hand up, holding his hat in place, while the other is balled into a fist that hangs by his hip. The toddler — who was probably just playing in his dress-up box — looks like he’s walking with such bravery and determination, just like all the selfless emergency workers in California. It’s somehow both uplifting and heartbreaking.

Fans were so touched and couldn’t help but applaud the father and son. The comment section was flooded with love and clapping emojis.

“Next generation 👏” “Ohhh Parker my friend you look awesome!!!!” “👏👏👏👏👏😍😍😍😍”

The last time we were writing about the Scott-Phan fam and fire, it was for an infinitely better reason. No one knew about the devastating natural disaster that was about to tear through Los Angeles when the parents excitedly celebrated their first Christmas as a family of four.

Scott shared a collection of photos from the happy day plus a video of him and Piper sitting near a crackling fire. “Piper’s first Christmas by the fire … she’s mesmerized!” he wrote over the footage. In the clip, the little girl is turned toward the fireplace and making content little noises. She then snuggles into her dad’s chest to get even cozier as they spend the holiday together.

It’s such a heartbreaking dichotomy — that video of Piper versus this new picture of Parker. They were posted for such different reasons but they ultimately came from a place of love. Love for each other, and love for all the helpers.
